Add animation to scroll along with rolling credit?

In some movie's rolling text credit has animation like a dancing doll scrolling along with the text. How do you do this in essential graphics?

I added an animation video clip to a rolling credit essential graphic. If it's the first element in the scrolling credit, then I see the animation play. But if I insert the clip near the end, it would already finish playing by the time it is scrolled to the visible part. How do I control when this clip starts playing, and how do I make it play in a loop?

I like your question. One thing I could think of is to put the clip on the timeline where you want it to be, and then add position keyframes to move it up at the same speed as your graphics.
