Adding clip markers in timeline

I'm trying to add clip markers from the timeline in Premiere Pro 2020.

As I understand it, I must create a shortcut..... problem is if I search for 'add clip marker' in the shortcut manager it is not available. Have done this from Aplication and timeline panel.

 

Any thoughts?

With the clip selected on the timeline that you want to apply clip markers to, position the playhead where you want the marker and press the m key.

Tried that before and did work sometimes, after few restards it now works indeed.

What would be the way to have the marker edit window open at the same time?

You can have the Marker Panel open at the same time. If it is not in your current workspace, go to the menu Window and select Markers in the drop down menu:

Isn't that another comand? Cannot find a description of 'mark clip' but it seems to cut of the befores and afters?
