Hi folks. The last time I needed Encore was before the pandemic. I've just tried to fire it up again and it's asking me to sign in to Premiere CS6. I have creative cloud membership, and essentially nothing has changed since I last used it. I've found a number of different discussions and web pages with suggestions - a common one is to sign out of creative cloud and sign in again, but this hasn't worked. Other threads say that Encore has been killed off and can't be signed into any more?
I had a perpetual licence for Premiere way back in the day, then I moved to creative cloud, then my work got creative cloud for everyone so I stopped my own creative cloud membership and adopted the workplace one. I just need Encore to work again so I can make these DVDs and Blurays.
You need to find your old perpetual license. You can no longer run Encore through a subscription. It may be in your Adobe account.

Same thing happened here, but I have no perpetual license but still need to access Encore CS6. Is there a workaround?

Unfortunately, you're completely out of luck. Encore CS6 relies completely on having a legally registered copy of Premiere Pro CS6 already in your Adobe account, and Adobe had permanently revoked all access to all CS6 programs via the Creative Cloud back in May 2019.
This means that not only must you have a serial-number-registered copy of Premiere Pro CS6 in your name, but you must also completely log out of your Creative Cloud account in order to use or install any legacy Creative Suite programs.

All true, except that when I last installed Encore CS6 (with license and disks) Nov 2021, I did not log out of the Cloud desktop.
And I just opened it with the desktop running and logged in.

All right, thanks. At least I know where I stand on this.
