Question

Adobe package contents?

Hello!

I am currently trying out Adobe Premiere as a trial. However, I noticed that there are a lot of elements, plug-ins etc, which are not available in this trial version. Warp stabilizer for instance. I was wondering if this is included in the Adobe Package I'm considering buying? And how does it work with all of these addons, are some of them community/third-party-made? Do I have to pay extra to actually get my money's worth out of the Adobe packages? For instance, I did not find the "Adobe Premiere Elements 15" in the included apps of the "Creative Cloud All Apps" package?

I really appreciate some help!

Yes, it is.

Premiere Elements is not included in Creative Cloud.  If you have Premiere Pro, you really don't need it, as it is much more powerful than Premiere Elements.

Please give specific examples of the plugins you are referring to.  There are many third party plugins that are available for purchase from third party vendors.

Also:

Premiere Pro requires a much more powerful computer than Premiere Elements.  What are your full computer specs, including Processor (and speed), RAM, video card, Hard drive setup (how many, what kind, how full, and what size)?

What file types and codecs will you be editing? Where will the video you be editing come from (model of camera, etc)?

I have a BMMCC(Black Magic Micro Cinema Camera) and was recommended to use Premiere to color code, edit etc. Hence I will be editing RAW files or Prores files, most likely RAW's.

I have a AMD FX(tm)-9120 Eight-core Processor, 8g RAM, Samsung 150 EVO SSD. I am using my stationary computer but have been considering buying a laptop capable of easily video editing.

I am a complete beginner and other than creating film using my cellphone and Sony Vegas, I have not much experience with film-making or recording. I was initially going for a BMPCC, but considering the capabilities and the FPS, I went with the BMMCC. However, as far as actually editing goes, I have close to no real knowledge. As I mentioned previously, I tried out the trial version of Premier with a few clips I've shot with my camera. However, when I was going to try out the Warp stabilizer I realized that the plugin was not available. That's when the scary thought "Maybe I actually have to buy a lot of necessary plugins separately" struck me. I could not find any info on this anywhere on the site either, so I made this post.

I thought that Premiere Elements was simply an extension to Premiere? Is that not the case?

I am doing this as a hobby, but I will put in a lot of time into it, so I want to make it right. But it is really hard to know where to start as I do not have any friends or family knowledgeable regarding this. I've been completely relying on forums, youtube guides, and people I've met on the internet so far.

Premiere Elements is a consumer (stripped down) version of Premiere Pro and wont be of any use to you when having a BM camera.

Warp Stabilizer should be present in the trial.
