Adobe Premier Pro Lag when editing

I have had premier pro since september 2019, and had no issues until december when i noticed the lag. It gradually got worse until today when I tried to make a new video and it was lagging so much that I couldn't even use it.

I bought my good pc right before getting premier  that's able to run multiple programs with ease. I watched a video talking about the media cache so I cleared it. I cleared all my chrome browser history. I ran a scan on my pc. My Premier Pro is up to date. I closed and opened premier pro and this is what I got-

When I tried to play the video and at the same time widen out the video so I could see the sound frames more detailed, it wasn't smooth like how the app generally runs but instead was choppy and would jump back and forth with how wide I set it when I clicked off. This also happened when I clicked to a part of the video it would lag.

I know somebody talked about updating a driver for it to work properly, but nobody says where to find the driver to update.

Somebody please help me
