Im getting the following error when I attempt to export H265 in the Adobe Premiere 2020. It use to work.

iMac Pro 2017

Boot Camp - Windows 10 - 1903

Things I have done:

Used CC Removal Tool and deleted all hidden Adobe folders / Reg Edits

Reinstalled

Removed AMD driver using DDU, reinstalled from AMD.com for Boot Camp iMac Pro 2017

Tried using Mecury Play back and Software both return Same error

Im at a total loss of ideas. Any help would be appreciated.

I also just experienced this bug from my iMac Pro. Definitely a bug with the new software - works fine when I select VBR instead of CBR. @adobe please patch this!

Definitely a bug and definitely related to CC 2020. Never had this issue in CC 2019. I think it is actually linked to resolution. Would be great if the error called out what the problem was so folks didn't have to trouble shoot. It seems like HEVC only allows for ceratin resolutions landscape orientation. So 3840x2160 will work, but odd resolutions like 2160x4768 doesn't work. Oddly enough, that resolution in landscape orientation 4678x2160 does work. Same resolution but portait orientation, not landscape. Hmm. CBR vs VBR don't seem to make a difference on my end. Using a Mac.

can I ask why you're using bootcamp windows rather than running premiere in it's native mac version?   Seems like you're asking for trouble.

What GPU do you have? I've gotten this issue when the VRAM fills. Do you have any third party effects on the timeline?

Does anything show up in the Event Viewer?

If I select VBR i am able to export, but CBR returns the error. Weird.
