Adobe Premiere Bug?

Okay,

So I have had this problem within, Adobe Premiere that started today. I am not sure if it's the crop tool that is causing the issue or the codec.

every time I attempt to crop or edit the video the source playback goes to a grey screen and only plays sound. The scrum bar won't move whilst

playing either. I ain't sure if it is due to a recent update but I am loosing my mind trying to fix it.

It is really annoying as I am an avid creator on YouTube, I need Premiere!

Where would I begin to look? I've checked all the latest drivers are installed.

Try rolling back the driver.

Here's what's happening.

I'm starting to think a clean re-install is the only option.

This seems like a graphics issue.  I'd look there.

I've tried updating / reverting back to old software. Nothing

I really don't want to do a full restore if I can help it.

This is the exact issue I am having this guy explains it better.

"I am having this issue now. I can move the marker in the timeline, save and do other actions but I can't get the monitor to change frames. No playback in either monitor or source monitor."

Also for some reason, these are the only GPU options I have. I ain't sure if that is the cause...

I am using Premiere Pro CC 2017: 11.0

Graphics drivers are up to date. Also checked the device manager and it said it's working.

I got a 980ti. Driver version 381.65

Does your media match the sequence settings?

Yes I have tried the basic or resetting and uninstalling.

What version of Premiere Pro?

Have you tried resetting the preferences?

Have you tried updating or rolling back the video driver?
