Adobe Premiere Pro Export Problem

Hello Everyone,

I installed premiere 2021 and have trouble in exporting the file in H.264 format. I also tried exporting in AVI but it is not as clear as H.264 format. Here is the error message:

Error compiling movie.

Export Error:

Error completing render.

Writing with exporter: H.264

Writing to file: ...... (local storage folder)

Writing file type: H264

Around timecode: 00:00:05:26 - 00:00:06:10

Component: H.264 of type exporter

Selector: 9

Error Code: 3

My computer does work for some other project of exporting H.264, but not for this project. I have a windows computer. A question of mine is if the hard drive is too full? I have 74.6 GB left and I am exporting a 3:30 video.

I tried deleting the clip on the timecode but it does not work. I also tried to export in Adobe Media Encoder / Restarting the Program but they do not work. Any valuable help would be appreciated.

Best,

Ziyue Wang

Hi Ziyue,

Sorry about this. A number of customers are having the same problem. I have a Mac and I am not seeing the issue, so I believe it is affecting certain Windows users. I'd say, it's the top issue for the application and Windows users right now.

A workaround: Switch your export settings to "Software Encoding" in the Video Tab of the Export Settings dialog box. It will be slower, but it will be of higher quality - and it will work more reliably. I hope this will be fixed for your system in an upcoming version of Premiere Pro.

Thanks,
Kevin
