Adobe premiere pro exports videos much lighter then they were.

Hello. I use this program only to make subtitles on video, but when I export it, my videos become extremely light. Composite in linear color in the sequence settings is unchecked. I didn’t change any settings.

I can’t figure out this problem for a long time, could you please help me with it?

Hey, mine is also doing something similar. when I export it goes so much lighter and I don't understand why? Its really differecult to edit when colour garding.

This situation looks very frustrating, Єлєна. I'm sorry this is happening to you. It seems as though you are on macOS. Your footage is vertical, so can I assume that you shot this footage on your iPhone? If so, you probably shot in HDR and can go through the HDR workflow to fix this specific footage. In the future, you can turn off HDR recording on your iPhone. That may help simplify your workflow from now on.

    Yes, I use MacOS and videos were made with HDR on iPhone. But for my surprise first two videos with same settings and HDR were export in good quolity that’s why I didn’t even realize that there’s might be a problem with it. Thank you for your link and answer! You helped me a lot!

    Yes, Yeliena. Your computer screen and TV usually don't support HDR, which can confuse you if you compare when you view the same content on the iPhone. iPhone supports HDR viewing. Great that you navigated around this crazy workflow. Let me know if you need help in the future.
