Adobe Story 2017 Scripts Will Not Load

All afternoon, I haven't been able to access script documents created with the new web-based Adobe Story 2017 version, and I've been seeing in the forums that other people have been having the same problem since yesterday. These documents are not compatible with the 2015 version of Story, so they are entirely inaccessible right now. My browsers and plug-ins are up to date, and I've paid for the app membership a day early, assuming the issue had to do with that, but this did not solve anything. Any assistance in solving this problem as soon as possible would be greatly appreciated.

    Lukem(lots-of-numbers),

Not sure how many times the moderators will allow me to offer this (copy/pasted) possible fix to similar problem posts, but I'll try it one more time.

Okay, so I (kind of) got Story working. Here's how:

In Chrome (running on a MacBook Pro) I went to "Preferences" and then typed "flash" into the search off to the right of "Settings." This should bring up a "Privacy" heading which is just above "Content Settings" with an arrow box with the word "flash" in it—click that "Content Settings" box. Next, scroll down until you find the "Flash" settings section (should be highlighted yellow thanks to the search you initiated earlier). My recommendation is to choose the "Ask first before allowing sites..." and then click in to "Manage Exceptions." Once in that window add "adobe.com", "story.adobe.com" and finally, "storyclassic.adobe.com". Ensure that all the boxes to the right of those exceptions are set to "Allow" and then click "Done."

Now, try signing into the Adobe Story site again. You might need to restart your browser (not computer), but I did not.

(Side Note: Even though this worked to get Story up-and-running it's more like crouched-and-crawling.....lots-o'-lag.)

    Hi lukem,

Is it working for you now or do you still have the same issue?

Did you follow my suggestion posted on the other thread?

    Thanks,

    Rameez

Hi Rameez- has there been any progress on this? I have the same problem, Story just hangs when loading my script. Considering there's no desktop version of the update, I don't really have a way of using it. I have verified that Flash is enabled. Are there any other forums that have solved the issue?

    Hi Dan.McFarren,

Try loading Story in Incognito mode/Private browsing.

Let us know if that helps.
