After AE edit (slightly larger but why??)After AE edit (slightly larger but why??)Before AE editBefore AE editAE composition settingsAE composition settingsPP settingsPP settingsI'm working on a music video which requires A LOT of special effects.

Each time I "replace with After Effects Composition" and make an edit to a clip, the edited clips/frame dimensions appear slightly larger than it was before working in AE. However on the Effect Controls in Premiere, the dimensions appear unchanged. How can this be? Tried scaling to size, but it worsens the issue. What am I doing wrong?

Recap:

Each time the edited clip comes back into Premiere Pro (from AE) , it's larger , by about a half inch than it was originally. I've wasted hours upon hours already trying to figure this out.

By any chance, did you use "Scale to Frame Size" on the clips originally in Premiere? Because they were bigger than the sequence size you were working in? That would set the scale in the Effects Controls to 100% even though it's technically not true.

I have done this on some clips yes, so I'm familiar with what you are saying. But I don't think I did this on the clips in question.

please try to switch renderers on both AE and PP, sometimes weird issues

occur when switching between software only and GPU acceleration, or

maybe try to update your graphics card
