Question

After Effects editable text Master effect control - text disappears when editing PPro 2020

Hi there,

I came to this problem when I tried to edit a text like we normally do here. Then suddenly my text dissapeared. You can see from my screen rec.

The AE file is a template which we always use. You can then drag the file into PPro and edit the text using the effect controls tab in the master section.

Now I'm forced to have this workaround and edit and export the AE file first. Then drag into PPro. Which costs me at least 10 times longer! Opening AE etc.

Help?

Did you change both Premiere and After? you might try 14.0.1 and 17.0.1 (you can also check if both languages are matching)

Tried it and it worked. Guess I have to downgrade the rest of the 20 computers now.
