Does anyone know how to get the Apple TV/device presets back into Media Encoder CC 2018? They gave me the best quality in the smallest file size for h264.

They simplified that massive list, dropping a lot of the mostly repetitive things on there. But to get a specific one "back", I'd say re-install 2017, then from the list, bring that preset back up, save-as a preset that you name & put where you can find it quick, then add that into 2018.

If we are to always revert to old versions for the things we need, will Adobe also revert our money back for lost time in doing so?

As one of those who was pushing for simplifying those uselessly long preset lists, I was quite pleased that finally they did. It takes so much less time to create a preset than continually wind down through those long lists, I never bothered to use the lists. Just a time waster.

I was ticked you couldn't get rid of them.

So if you're talking about lost time, it seemed to me the lost time was trying to go through 1,342 options to get the right one. Didn't have the patience to do that.
