Audio clip channel indicators change

With Adobe's distrastrous new layout comes another bug I'm trying to resolve. It used to be that audio clips could be displayed in a sequence without the Channel designation. Such as Ch 2, Ch 3, etc. Now I'm not seeing a way to turn that off. It's a visual hinderance to setting audio transitions, which already are harder to see with the new layout.

Is there a way to disable those indicators?
