Audio distorted after export [Promiere Pro 24.0]

I have a video project that was created in version 22.0 and now Premiere Pro reqired me to converted it in order to open it.

After the conversion, everything was working rpoperly in Edit mode. But after I exported it, the audio was distorted in the final video. I did not change anything in the project, nor did I used a different setting in export. It seems something was wrong during the export process that changed the sound, even though I used the same export settings. 

Any suggestions or advice, I will appriciate them. Thank you.

    That is the recommended method when opening an old project in a new version.

    It is also recommended to delete the Media Cache files first.

    Hi @Ting_Z,

    I read your note. Note sure what happened, but can't you export from v.22 instead? Or did Creative Cloud wipe out your installation of that application? Let us know. I hope we can help you find a solution or workaround.

    Hi, Kevin. 

    Thank you for your suggestion. 

    But the issu is: I can't open it in 22.0, and Premiere Pro forced me to convert it. (I guess it's because I already update to the 24.0 version?)

    Everytime I opened the project, I received the following prompt. I had to select "OK" to be able to open the project.

     

    I did more further testing and here is a breakdown of what works and what doesn't:

    • Open existing projct (version 22.0), Premiere Pro converts it from 22.0 to 24.0. Audio distortion after export. 
    • Create a new project in version 24.0, everything is good. 
    • Create a new project in version 24.0, then import the 22.0 project. Everything appears working fine. So looks like this is a workaround.

    Please, Guys @Kevin-Monahan fix this. The workaround no longer work!
