Audio track mixer effects not applying

I'm hoping that I might just disable something or missed something stupid, but I am relatively new to premiere and when I was mixing effects on audio track mixer to add effects on a whole track it was working just fine (the first project i made) but on my new project the effects would not go through on to the track HELP plzz its kinda tilting me off the planet. it would just work as a normal track without any effects applied
