Audio tracks not showing

Hello,

I'm editing several clips from the same source and for some reason, the audio tracks for some clips don't show up in Premiere. As you can see in the attached screenshot, the settings for both clips are exactly the same, but the 00013.MTS file has only one audio track. Am I doing something wrong?

The most common user error is not source patching the track.
Solved by first opening clip in Source Monitor. Then drag/insert into timeline.

When I open the files in Source Monitor, different tracks are highlighted in the Source patching column, and in the case of the 00013.MTS file, only one audio track shows up as available.

OK, that's correct. I don't know why it's mono when I used the exact same injest settings for all clips.

Can you explain perhaps why the clips seem to behave so differently even though they're from the same camera and even the same take?

And there's also one more problem: the audio is out of sync (12 frames late) in Premiere, but in sync when I play the MTS files in a regular player like VLC. Any idea why?

Thank you.

I cannot explain anything, as I have no idea how you went about creating this project.

If I were you, I would start over.
