Audio volume copy paste problem

So here's the thing. In the latest premiere update, 24.5, I cant copy the audio volume and paste the attributes to all my others audio clips, which helps me maintain the same volume for all my clips. In the case of audio effects, all pastes well. Any suggestions?

Having the same problem in 25.2.3 (build 4).

The only workaround I've found is to select the volume section in Effect Controls and then lasso/select multiple audio clips and cmmd+v (paste) in the timeline. This seems to work so far and doesn't add a second "volume" control in Effect Controls as others have mentioned. Hope this helps until it gets fixed!

Hi D&Z,

We fixed a similar issue in the 25.2 release of Premiere Pro. Would you mind sharing a screen recording of the issue you are experiencing? It will help us investigate the issue properly.

Thanks,

Sumeet

I am still having the same issue, and I'm using 25.2.3, build 4.

This issue has not been fixed.

I've been copy/pasting attributes between clips in my timelines for many years. I can no longer do this in my current project.

I'm in version 25.2.1 and this issue has gotten out of control. I've gone through the suggested fixes, even the ones marked "correct answer," and no fix. This includes, changing workspace layout, trashing prefs, and importing my project into a fresh project.

The strange thing is that my problem seems confined (at the moment) to mono tracks only, not stereo.

Would really appreicate a fix ASAP. Thanks.

Update:

Started a new project. Copy/paste between mono tracks worked great.

Went back to previous project (see initial post). Copy/paste between mono tracks still not working.

I expect it to stop working in my new project eventually. We'll see...

This is now happening to me in version 25.1.0. I was able to do this earlier today, and now it's not working. I'm working on a Macbook Pro OS 15.1. The pinned reply is not a solution as I am already doing that.

That's the version I'm using as well, and my experience has been the same. It worked normally for awhile and then stopped. Very frustrating.

What happens when you copy the clip in the timeline, and then Edit > Paste Attributes to the other clips?

Nothing. The levels on the clips that you're pasting to do not change.

I'm having the same issue. It was working fine before the last update.

Same issue here as well.   A workaround I found  is to adjust the clip volume in the effect control panel for the source clip, any amount, after which you can paste attribute volume to other clips.

Thanks G W.

Though not ideal, this workaround did help.

Same problem here, was working fine until I updated to 25.1 (Build 73) today and can't do it anymore

Make sure when copying the audio, only select the audio part of the clip, not the entire clip.

Then Paste Attributes will appear in the dropdown.

Paste Attributes will appear even if you've copied an enitre clip (audio and video).

Yes I know but OP just wants audio volume. And I copied from the ECP and not the timeline (which I forgot to mention).

Could you please share a screenshot of your timeline? This will help us better understand the issue and provide more accurate assistance.

Rather than copy and paste the effect in the Effect Controls, copy the clip in the timeline, and then Edit > Paste Attributes to the other clips.

in the future, to find the best place to post your message, use the list here, https://community.adobe.com/

p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.

This effects my workflow substancially as I am no longer able to simply copy Volume levels and paste across multiple tracks.

It adds a new Volume, leaving t he orginial unaffected. Almost like a Double Volume effect.
