automatic subtitles are shown even without speech

Hi all. I used the automatic subtitle generator and it does it's job great BUT the problem is that even when there is NO SPEECH the last subtitle keeps stuck on the video until there is a new dialogue. So, basically, a subtitle is always shown on the screen. Do you have any solution? The transcript is good, the timing is good but after the words are spoken, as I said, the subtitle used is kept showing on the video! Thank you very much!!

When you create the captions, what do you have set in the settings for "minimum duration"?

Are there many instances where this happens, or only a few? What is the length in seconds of the caption that stays?

Hi there. I tried the "minimum duration" settings but the result was the same. When there is a dialogue, the subtitles are shown perfectly but then the subtitle stays on the screen until the next dialogue. So, if after a dialogue there comes a part of the video in which no one is talking, the subtitles from the last dialogue are still showing on the video...

Are you viewing this in PR? Or is this an export being viewed on a player?

Are you seeing a caption in the PR timeline that stretches until the next dialogue starts?
