Question

B/W Filter as a Keyboard Shortcut.

Hi,

I'm working on Premiere Pro CC 2018.

I made a clip B/W using the Image Control  ------- Black and White Filter.  Can I make the B/W Filter a Keyboard shortcut because I plan on using it throughout this project.  If so, How?

Thanks in Advance

    Hi adamb89690903,

At the moment assigning a Keyboard shortcut to an effect like Black & White is not possible in Premiere Pro. You may upvote for this feature request at the UserVoice page (Keyboard shortcut for Effects & Presets PLEEEEEASE!!! : ) – Adobe video & audio apps )

For the time being, you may save custom Effect presets for your desired effects, so that you could access it easily from the Presets bin (Not the same as Keyboard shortcuts, but could be the next closest thing to do)

    Hope you find it useful.

    Thanks,

    Sumeet

If you put a bunch of clips into your timeline, and make the first clip B&W, it may be possible for you to select that bw clip, and 'copy' and then select all your other clips and select 'paste attributes' … then they would all be bw
