Best Beginner/intermediate Premiere Pro 2023 tutorials?

Like everyone who's ever started on video editing, I'm tearing what's left of my hair out. iMovie worked for a bit but then stopped responding. Movavi I tried until my magic worked on it and it stopped. Premier Rush worked pretty well and made me think I could tackle Premiere Pro. The Udemy tutorial was hopeless. My (paid-for, but remote) tutor had the same sort of difficulties I had. maybe it's just me! 

What comes up on other people's screens doesn't necessaril;y come up on mine. I'm using the latest version of Pro, and have 16GBs of RAM on my iMac so ought to be in the mainstream. 

I'm longing to use some of the wild transitions that are out there.

Anyone have any recommendations for how to get going with a comprehensible (and comprehenisive tutor?
