Black bars/lines appear on text when using effects. (Premiere pro)

When I put text with certain effects in my timeline, these black bars/lines will sometimes appear, and they don't disappear upon export or timeline rendering.

I've seen a few people have the same issue, but there isn't much online for it.

(I've attached a gif of the issue. Its a bit compressed, but you can still see the issue)

Using the character tab, you can return all your settings except drop shadows!

I just figured out you can replace it with an After Effects comp, but you lose some text customizations.

If you are using something like Corner Pin, Basic 3D or Lens distortion it's a known issue.

Revert to previous version or use the beta.
