Bulk Editing Metadata

I have tons of b-roll and wish to make it searchable by adding log notes. So, I select a bunch of clips in my bin window, then in the metadata panel, add some info to the log note field, but Premiere only adds that info to the first two clips I have selected, if that. Am I doing something wrong, other than assuming that Premiere should work properly?

Adobe is aware of the issue.  We can only wait for a fix.

Thanks as always Jim! Pity as it (sorta) used to work (haphazardly) in previous versions.

I don't believe Premiere does, but you might be able to do that with Bridge.
