I see the sys req. is W10, but am wondering if it is possible to install and run Premiere on a W7 64-bit machine?

Hi @jeffht681a,
Hi there! You’re curious about running Adobe Premiere Pro on a Windows 7 64-bit machine. Here’s what you need to know:

Adobe Premiere Pro’s current versions require Windows 10 or later.
Unfortunately, this means you won’t be able to install or run the latest versions of Premiere Pro on a Windows 7 system. Adobe ended support for Windows 7 a while ago, and the last version compatible with Windows 7 was Premiere Pro CC 2018 (version 12. x)1.

If you’re still using Windows 7, consider upgrading your operating system to meet the current requirements. This will ensure you can take full advantage of Premiere Pro's latest features and updates.

If upgrading isn’t an option right now, you might consider using an older version of Premiere Pro. Please note that Adobe no longer officially provides these older versions for download, so you'd need to have those already installed, which, it sounds like, is not the case. Sorry.

I hope this helps! If you have any more questions or need further assistance, feel free to ask. 😊

Thanks,
Kevin
