I have a new project that I will be creting a Prodcution for as there is a large amount of footage and projects from previous edits that I need to pull from, the question is one of the older Projects is a Production from a previous editor. Can I import this Production into my newer Production or what wouldl the best workflow be for this situation?
Any info woul dbe appreciated, thanks so much.

You can add projects to another production, but I'm not sure you can directly add the entire production.

Hi there
Thanks and yes I use Productions in my workflow often and have been adding projects to Productions for each client which helps out alot in terms of using media from the different projects, I'm so used to working this way which is why I was wondering If could add/merge another Production rather than having to export clips or sequences and then import those.
The Prodcution workflow is just so much more effecient for my type of work where a client has a load of footage and projects that get reused in aother projects.
Thanks so much.

@Marcel2195267466vw there is no formal "merge Productions" command or process, but, yes you can manually do it yourself. If the Productions are from the same major version of Premiere Pro (all from 2024, or all from 2025, etc) then all you need to do is copy the projects manually from one Production folder to the other.
If you're not sure they're from the same version, you can also use the "Add Project to Production" command found in the Production panel menu. This will always copy it in, leaving the original untouched. This command will also upgrade the project as it comes in, if necessary.
