Can I connect a clickable Facebook link in a video?

Hi, I am making some review videos for clients. I have created a Facebook button in a Lower Third. Is it possible to put a link in the actual video where viewers can click the button and go to their FB page? and can this link be clicked in the actual video? Or must it be a link underneath the video? Thanks in advance

Hi,

you cannot put a link inside the video itself. The only way to achieve that would be to have a video player that allow clickable overlay, like you have on Youtube for instance.

liz2319​: As Seb says, clickability in a video is a not a feature of the actual video file but the player that's wrapped around it, so to speak. Just as when you play, stop, maximize, slow down, etc. a video, you're interacting with the player's controls, not the actual video file itself. You'll need to make use of Facebook's own video player to find the feature you're looking for. These resources might help:
