After exporting a video from PremierPro to  Media Encoder, can I close PremierPro, or it needs to stay open until the whole movie is done in Media Encoder?

Sorry for a dumb questions ... please be nice   🙂

Averdahl is correct. ME is the "full" encoding engine of Premiere/Ae, and is brought up "headless" when exporting direct from Pr. But if you select the queue to Me option, then Premiere is completely out of the process.
