Can't build a DVD anymore in Adobe Encore

I was using Encore for the past few weeks to download a film I made. It appeared to work just fine; I insert a blank disc, wait for it to load up, and then select to build.

But now I try to make more dvds and repeat the same steps but after inserting a blank disc the build button is still not able to be clicked on.. I have tried multiple different solutions, such as restarting the program, the computer, and or just makng a new project in Encore but it will not work..

Please can someone help me find a solution..

You should always end your question with a description of your system: OS and version, memory, disk space and free disc space etc.

Not all people, no.

I am very sorry but I get so irritated with the constant claim that "nobody uses discs any more as everyone is streaming". This is propaganda, pure and simple - there was recently a survey done & the percentage who use streaming as primary playback is a pitiful 31%.

You misread me. I talk about my personal experience. I still have around 100 blank DVDs in my cupboard and around 20 Blue Rays. I have a Blue Ray writer that I used 3 times at most.

People want their films on disk. That means, people I’m working for want their films on disk so that when they show them, they run either from the PC or from a stick on their TV set. They don’t do streaming. They get a file from me (mp4 or wmf or whatever they ask for).

I still have a couple (40-60) ready to use DVDs of different films to give away. Nobody want’s them. My people are asking the same as a mp4 or wmf file.

I personally, I am still buying DVDs, but I would wish they were without the copy protection, so that I could load them on my NAS. I’m not using a streaming service appart from Vimeo or Youtube.

Peace. Brother. Peace. I’m delivring what the customer pays for...
