Can't get imported cleaned up wav files to sync to original wav file

Hi Community,

 

I took the wav file from my podcast and put it through a clean up in an audio engineering program called FL Studio, which does a much better job at cleaning up sound than Premier. But then when I imported it to Premier, it was out of sync with the original wave file, even though used mono, 16 bit and 48000 Hz to match the original wav file.

 

Any suggestions appreciated; this is driving me nuts!

    Did you accidentally add a few ms gap at the start? Drop both tracks in the timeline and select "Show Audio Time Units" to see if you trim one if they line up.

     

    If not double check your settings in the sequence and files.
