Can't "Remove Attributes"

Running version 14.3.1

iMac 2017 Mojave 10.14.5

Very new to Premiere Pro as well. Any time I try to right click and go to remove attributes, it doesn't work. I will unclick the attributes I don't want and click "Okay" but it doesn't save. I've tried this on multiple projects, even starting a project brand new and applying one affect and trying to remove it, but it won't remove.

Any help would really be appreciated.

Thanks!

Correct answer Steve Griffiths

With 'remove attributes' it's the 'ticked' attributes that get removed. So leave the attributes you want removed 'ticked' or selected ... so don''t 'unclick' them. Only 'unclick' the attributes you want to keep! Good luck.

🙂 actually while the user interface for remove attributes is correct (if you think about it) it is initially confusing and easy to think 'to remove you need to uncheck'. At least I did when I first used it.
