I have a 30 minute sequence I attemped to export in ProRes HQ. But, unfortunately, Adobe revambed the export options wrapping everying in their new and horrible OPI. mxf format. That format cannot be uploaded to WeTransfer, Dropbox or even YouTube or anything else. They do not recognize the file type. This caused me 8 hours of trying to figure it out. I tried choosing quicktime, then prores hq. That didn't work either.
After hours of figuring it out, I was able to export in hq in 2 15 minute parts. It uploaded to Dropbox (but not WeTransfer). Adobe changing up the export file type nearly made me miss a big deadline. Please, for the love of God, Adobe, change it back. I am so frustrated by this.

I don't think anything's changed? Were you going for a .mov or an .mxf?

As noted, ProRes has always had a user choice of wrappers ... either QuikTime (mov) or the Op1a mxf. Which is absolutely needed as many professional situations require the Op1a by specs for deliverables, and naturally, most other use can or should be the mov wrapper.
It may have not been obvious, but the choice is there as shown.

Hi jimmy2cans,
Welcome to the community! As our experts mentioned, nothing has changed with ProRes HQ exports in Premiere Pro. Please let us know the issue you are experiencing when you set Format to QuickTime and Video Codec to Apple ProRes 422 HQ. If the exported media is not uploading to WeTransfer, please check if its size exceeds the maximum supported limit.
Thanks,
Sumeet

If I remember correctily, I would upload shorter clips to WeTransfer to upload (WeTrasfer is a 3GB limit/30 period, according to ChatGPT. WeTransfer didn't recognize the file at all. It didn't alert me to anything except it just said no clip uploaded. No alert to size of file. Dropbox did work. I have a subscription version. So, seems like a lot of variables to sort out still. I was thinking it was the new file format that still wrapped around the .mov file.

Such a simple thing, could you at least please tell us how big the .mxf is.
My guess is Adobe knows more about .mxf than WeTransfer. Maybe ask them why it is not uploading.

WeTransfer can be unreliable.
Try this one : SwissTransfer - Send large files securely and free of charge.
