Cannot relink footage

Project handed off from another user. Says it found a match but won't show it or let me hit the "ok" button to re-link.

Sorry for asking the obvious, but are you 100% that the filename did not change in the handoff? Assuming the names match up, I don't know why Premiere isn't seeing it the file. But, if you're confident that you know exactly which file you need to relink - uncheck "Display exact matches only" near the search box, select your file, and relink.

It is the same (It was my file I uploaded for him to use). It is also odd, because I cannot dive into sub folders in teh client location on my hard drive - it only shows the root. Had this happen a few times lately with both 2023 and 2024 versions

Thanks for trying. Unchecking does nothing and still doesn't allow me to dive into the sub folders.

On Windows 10. I can try offlining/onlining my raid but I have been using it for years with no issue (also using Premiere daily since 98)

Got it. A few other ideas:

  • Make sure that you don't have filtering enabled - "All Supported Files" should be checked
  • Try unchecking this box before you hit "Locate" so you can relink with Windows Explorer instead. More of a workaround than a fix, admittedly.
