Cannot select or delete media markers

As title suggests.

I placed markers on a video clip as it was playing. If I double click the markers. Nothing happens, I cannot get the marker menu to open and I cannot name or label it.

They just sit there.

Is that all they do?

Can I Delete them?

Am I Confused?

Double click on the clip to open in Source Monitor then you can select the markers to give them a name or delete them or ....

I'm having the same issue, but when I try and double click the video clip, it doesn't open in the source monitor, it opens in the Text/Graphics monitor. Any suggestions?

Might need to reset preferences of import project in new project.
