Canon R6 Footage shot in 120 has repeated & skipped frames. (Glitchy)

I don't know how else to explain it but i've been shooting with my R6 for the last few weeks and everything's been going fine until one day it wasn't. I didn't change any settings in premiere but all my 120 clips now are glitching. I've brought them into davinci and they playback perfectly fine but when i bring them into premeire they glitch. I've rendered them out and they still come out glitching.

I've even talked to other editors that i'm friends with and were all stumped. I've sent sample footage to them and they said it worked perfectly fine on theirs. I have three different computers i've tried it on and all of them have problems with the project files (which were working just fine until something happened).

Correct answer MSpencerWC

I can't really show a screen shot of the clips because it just looks like a still frame.

I'm running a Mac Pro 2019

3.3 GHz 12-Core Intel Xeon W

96 GB 2933 MHz DDR4

AMD Radeon Pro 580X 8 GB

But i did try what Ann said and brought in the sequences into a new project and they all worked. Still not sure what made the clips go from normal to glitching without changing anything. I even cleared my cahce and all my preferences and tried on two other computers. So not sure if that specific project file is corrupt but either way that fixed the issue for now.

Hey mspencer1880,

My apologies for the issue. Could you share a screenshot or sample footage of the glitch so that we can better understand the problem? Please share your video properties (along with bit depth and chroma subsampling used) and your system specifications (OS, OS version, CPU, GPU, RAM). As Ann suggested, please try importing the files to a new project to see if this is a project-specific issue. If that works, try importing your sequence to a new project file to see if that works for you.

Regards,
Ishan
