Captions Animations Not working?

Hey there. Im new to captions feature and Ive been trying to get the animations to work in the panel (i.e roll up lines 2,3,4 and paint on) But it always animates the captions the same with a simple pop on. If someone could help me that would be great. And also while im on the topic does anyone know any script input feature or like automatic turn dialog into text feature in premiere. Thank you!

3playmedia is one of many services that will do all or part of your transcription/captioning for a fee.

Free tools that can help, but not with transcription, are SubtitleEdit and Aegisub.

In PR, you can change a caption stream from 608 or 708 to the other. There are many options. FYI, once to change a stream in PR to Open Captions, you cannot change it to anything else. 708 has more options (e.g. font colors) than 608.

The rollup etc is only available for closed caption type captions, and I don't believe these ever "animate" other than the display behavior when used as closed captions.

There is no dialog to text feature in PR. There are third party tools, some pricey.

could you link me to some good tools if you have the chance. And also by any chance would you know the diffrence between CEA-708 and CAE-608 closed captions. I only 708 pops up on my timeline and ive been toggling the view captions button
