Since the last update, When capturing HDV from my tape deck, The Capture screen remains black with no audio. When I stop capturing, the video can be sent to the timeline. It has been capturing - I just cannot see or hear it.  There is no problem when capturing DV, and there was no problem before the last update.  I am using Windows 10.

Hi talmartin,

How did you end up capturing your HDV footage? Did our experts help at all? Please let us know.

Thanks,
Kevin

No, they did not.

The preview monitor does display when capturing DV, but not in HDV.

I have changed the setting in New Sequence - No Help.

I am using Windows 10, and capturing from a Sony tape deck.  The tapes are 1080i.]

Settings seem correct, but still no preview screen.  It was working before last two updates.

Thank you for any assistance you can give me.

Tal Martin

Instead of figuring out how to get Premiere to capture again use:

HDVSplit

looks old but still valid.

Thanks, but I have connected everything as suggested.  As I said before, all was okay until last update.
