Certain Clips turn Solid Red in Bin and During Playback

So, its a project I left alone for a month or so, and now I'm coming back to it.  All the video and audio clips are on my laptop's internal drive.  When I render and play the edited timeline footage, certain clips only show as solid red.  I find them in the appropriate bin, and they're red there too. I right click to show in Exporer, and sure enough, the clip is right where it's supposed to be and will play in Windows 10 perfectly.

There are several other clips right from this card and this project, I don't know what's different about these particular clips.  Anybody have any advice?

What camera was used to record the problem media?

Sony A7s II,  but so were all the clips that are still working. Plus, even these clips were fine when I took a break from this project about a month ago.

    OK.

If the Cache thing doesn't work, try step 2J.

Delete the PrPro media cache and cache database files, reopen PrPro and see if they're showing properly then.

    thanks, but didn't work.

On another note, I'm a new PC user an finding the media cache folders and preferences was unnecessarily difficult. I went to Premiere's Media preferences, which supposedly shows the hierarchical path on my hard drive to the media cache files, but some folders, I found out, are hidden and you have to search for them. Not sure I did it right.

SO I made a new folder for those files and then deleted those. Relaunched, media is still red (after rendering) and the file won't export either - it stops at 40 percent, around the time those clips are supposed to show up.  Thanks for your help, but do you have any oither ideas?

Clear media cache as shown below,

Then rename the folder the footage is in and relink,

    See if that will help.
