Is there a way to change the creepy startup screen in Premiere Pro?
By @anthony_gc
Yes, but i don´t know how popular it is here. On Windows i go to C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Premiere Pro 2024\PNG and the files you want to change is pr_splash.png, pr_splash@2x.png, pr_splash@3to2x.png depending on your screen resolution. You have to figure out how to get around the file protection in your OS.
Save the originals and do changes on your own risk.
Edit:
Or, delete the three files and rename three older splash screens in the same folder to the same name as the three files you deleted. Then copyright, etc should not be an issue, hopefully.
Still creepy...

Thanks for reminding me about this. Just did it successfully. Now have a picture my daughter took on our vacation to Japan. Much better!

Definetly the worst one I've ever seen on PP. It is creepy, I can't believe someone picked that?

Premiere Pro Beta 24.2 does not have the creepy startup screen. Does Adobe realize how the 24.0.0 startup screen is unacceptable to many? At least the startup screen in Media Encoder 24.0.2 isn't creepy.

There is literally nothing to like about that picture. How it got approved or what it has to do with Premiere, I'll never know.
