Clicking on right side of video clip automatically opens Effect Controls?

I'm using Version 25.3.0.

When moving clips around on the timeline, clicking on the right side of a video clip will automatically open up the Effect Controls Panel. There's an active "FX badge" at the end of each clip that wasn't there in previous versions.

Is there a way to disable this feature? It's very frustrating to have this panel open up when I'm simply moving clips on the timeline.
