Question

Clips in Timeline stuck at Media Pending

Hello,

I started using Adobe Premiere a few days ago without issues, but yesterday I started having issues when I try to open my project with a 5 minute sequence, the audio works but the video doesn't change from Media Pending. I tried CTRL+A and unchecking and checking Enable. I tried changing the Renderer to a different value then back to Software Only. I tried reinstalling the application. Please help.

Thank you

Hey Rosanna,

Sorry to hear you're experiencing this issue. Do you see this issue with a specific source file or all files? Do you have any effects added to the problematic clips? Let us know what type of storage are your source files saved in. For testing purposes, do the source files preview correctly if you import them to a new Premiere Pro project?

Thanks,

Ishan

Hello,

Thank you for your email. The issue is with all files. I've tried to copy
and paste the sequence into a new sequence, and it doesn't help.

I only have audio added to the clips.

My files are stored in an external drive.

If I start a new project and add the same clip, it works.

Also, I've tried deleting media cache.

Thank you,
Rosanna

Could you try moving some of your source files to the internal storage and check if you still see the issue? Also, try importing your project file to a new project and see if that helps.
