CLOCK_WATCHDOG_TIMEOUT

Hello!

Every time I open Premiere Pro I eventually get a BSOD (CLOCK_WATCHDOG_TIMEOUT). I only have this issue with adobe products, specifically premiere pro. Ive tried quite a few fixes and nothings seems to work. The BSOD tends to occur around 5-10ish minutes after I launch the program, and it seems to blue screen me faster if I am running more programs in the background.

Ive tried updating all of my drivers, uninstalling and reinstalling adobe products, ran a SFC scan, followed by DISM, ran memtest86+ for 4 passes, reset BIOS, updated BIOS, turned my PC's power plan to High Performance, tried switching install drives, and im sure a bit more I'm forgetting.

Does anyone have any idea whats going on here? I feel like I tried everything I could find and it still ends the same.

Hi, Ceasarcannon,

Sorry for this error. It may be related to faulty NVIDIA drivers. Lately, they have caused a lot of issues. Update to the very latest studio drivers to be free of the problematic drivers. Let us know how it goes.

Thanks,
Kevin

Hello. Same problem here with 23.2 which is completly unusable as a pro user. Many of my pro editor friends have the same kind of problem.
Try to install 23.0 version. It was a little bit more stable. I know this is not an ideal solution...
To be honnest, I'm tired of reporting bugs on this forum. This is useless because Adobe takes forever to fix very serious bugs. And with each update, old bugs reappear... I think it's really time to consider using other video editing software.
Good luck!
