Closing nested sequence does not navigate back to original sequence it came from

Normally when you double-click on a nested sequence to open it and make changes, when you click the x to close that timeline it brings you back to the original timeline the nest came from but now it just brings you to the timeline next to it. Very annoying and makes for a slower workflow. Any settings to change this back or it's a glitch?

Still not fixed. A similar problem is.....not having all of my sequences open when I re-launch a project. Frustrating.

Been using PP for a few years now and Adobe doesn't seem to want to fix some of the most basic things.

Really enjoying having to take _1 off file names constantly when encoding. Obviously I could go on and on and on...

Remii,

This appears to have changed in PR 2021. I first tested the current 23.4.0, and I see what you see. If my timeline has sequences from left to right named 1, 2, 3, 4, and I nest the contents of Seq 2, when I double click the nest, it opens to the right of Seq 4. When I X it out, the focus shifts to Seq 4.

The same happens in PR 2021 (15.4.5).

In PR 2020 (14.9), the nest opens to the right of Seq 4, but when it is closed, the focus switches back to Seq 2.

Stan

Hi Stan,

Yes totally. When you close a nest it would always flick back to the sequence it came from. Hope they fix this!

Hi Stan - yes, my post is a dupe of this, so feel free to get rid of mine.
