Coloring in an indicator light on a product

Hi everyone,

So i am shooting a setup video for one of our products.  In the video i require the router to be shown with proper indicators.  Unfortunately in our video room we do not have a active internet drop so the internet light on the router is not lit, when i need it to be.  is there a way to light it up using Adobe?  I have access to CC cloud so all options are pretty much open.  Any help would be great.

the clip in question is here:  OF4A9783.MOV - Google Drive

Thank you

Carl

Sounds like you are working for the company that makes the router. Can you get the design team to give you a mockup router that can switch the lights on as desired?

Probably but this project is time sensitive and there would be delays getting that.  I wanted to see if there was something Adobe could do for me before I went that router

Using mattes and masks has been rather a staple of editing ... for instance, in a shot the TV is "on" but actually, during shooting, it wasn't. The editor is supposed to "fill" the TV screen area. So ... find the appropriate "TV" content to show, put it on a higher track, size/position to fit the TV in the screen, masked the main video out so the only place that upper track shows is in the TV screen.

This is similar, but simpler really.

Probably make color mattes of the appropriate colors on higher tracks, and with masks, put them in place.
