Consolidate clips from one source

I have a sequence that is made up of a single source of media. Every time I try to consolidate the sequence to individual clips Premeire copies the entire source into the new folder. Is there a way to save the clips as small exported clips?

You'd have to make subclips. Otherwise you will get the reference or Source clip.

Thanks. I just tried that and still getting one giant clip

Render and Replace will give you single clips.

Thanks, I tried this too. I got an error every time: "Transcode failure unable to match audio channels." So I created a custom preset with the source files audio configuration and still got the error.

What kind of audio do you have on the timeline.

Dont know how many clips but alternative nest each clip and transcode these sequences in AME.
