convert srt to essential graphics in premiere

In Premiere 2022 you can do quite a bit of styling to your subtitles in your captions track. But if you were hoping to take the SRT file and have a button to push that would convert those to text graphics then I'm afraid you might be out of luck. You'd be better off making your captions open caption subtitles and style them with the Essential Graphics panel.
