Copied mask from rotated clip appears misaligned on adjustment layer in 9:16 sequence

When applying a mask to a rotated clip in a 9:16 sequence and copying it to an adjustment layer, the mask orientation does not match. It seems to ignore the clip’s rotation and reverts to the original coordinate space, causing misalignment. This breaks vertical video workflows and requires manual rework or nesting. Is there a workaround?
