Copy and pasting the position attribute of a text box

Effects from one video can be applied to the another video by copying and pasting attributes.

Similarly, is it possible to copy the position settings of a text box and apply to other text boxes? If yes, how to do so?

If not, how do you make sure the text box will appear in the same location without manually adjusting the position of each text box?

This method copies the text as well to the new layer. I will have to retype my text after copying the text box.

I already have the text typed in my second layer. I just want to align the text box to the same location as the first layer without needing to retype the text again.

Basically, I want to copy the position attribute of the text boxes from layer 1 and apply to the second layer. It would be an added benefit if I can also copy the color scheme, font size and font type. Something similar to Format Painter Command in MS Word.

As far as the color scheme & stuff, set a Master Style for them.

For the boxes ... create the box, paste into multiple locations, then add text would be the simplest way I can think of. For a small project.

For a larger one, create a mogrt ... set it as you want, but without text. Then right-click the graphic on your timeline, and select export as mogrt. You can then use it from your EGP browse panel's options or add it to a Library. To a shared library is the most efficient way to use it with a group.

If you copy a clip, and then use Paste Attributes on another clip, and check the Motion box, that will apply Position, Scale, Rotation, and Anchor Point from the copied clip.

This is not working with the position of the text boxes.

The position of the text box stays the same after copying the attributes.

I want to copy the position of the the text boxes from one graphic layer to the another without needing to retype the text.

Saving them as a motion graphic template is a neat Trick!!

Thank you!
