Hello, i have an annoying problem with Premiere Pro. Sometimes i just want tto copy adp paste my text so i don't have to change the font and all that stuff each time, but when i try to change my second text, it automaticly changes the first one too. Can someone help me to fix this problem pls ?

you shouldn't have this problem if you simply copy and paste. If you nest the clip and copy and paste the nest, I think you will have this problem... Also always a good idea to tell us your system specs: OS version, Premiere version, amount of RAM, Hardware specs including graphics card and your source properties and sequence setting...

Are you still using the Legacy Titler for your text graphics?

If so a 'copy' of a legacy title will retain the values of any changes and update all versions of that same copy.

Option drag in your sequence (or duplicate in your Project window) a legacy title to create a new instance. This will allow changes to be made without affecting the original version.

Although sometimes annoying, this behaviour was useful. If (for instance) you needed to make a change to someones title or name and this title appeared multiple times in your program - updating the original would also update all other 'copies' in the program.

I recommend dragging the text in the timeline while holding option or alt to make a copy and then paste into the copy.

This will not change the first text.

I simply select the text clip in the timeline, copy and then paste at the correct spot for the new title. Never had an issue working this way.

thanks, yeah the issue was that i nested it and now i copyed the text without the nest and all worked

Can you give more of an explination of what you mean. by "when I try to change my second text"? Or post some screen shots that illustrate the problem you are having?
