Corrupt Project File

Hello,

So I have a corrupt project file and am really hoping to repair it.  I know exactly how it happened as I shut down my computer just a bit too sudden. Several suggested methods of recovery did not work, such as exporting corrupt file into new project.

I've attempted to diagnose the problem via XML:Wrench, but I'm afraid i am too much of a lamen to understand what to do with the information it is supplying.

I am working with Adobe Premiere Pro 2.0

My OS is Windows XP

The corrupt file is a "project file" or ".prproj."

I  guess what I'm looking for is someone who would be kind enough to translate what XML:Wrench is saying about this particular project file so that I can know whether or not it is salvageable. I would really appreciate it.

Regards

JV

    PROBLEM SOLVED

I came across this bit of information on another forum which, in my case saved the day. Hope it maybe helps someone out at some point.

"The autosave projects are numbered but the highest number is not always the last save, it is usually the one with the largest file size."
