Crash Adobe after import via plugin (xml file)

Hi all,

When using a plugin (XTEND) that generates an xml file with the file location, Adobe Premiere Pro turns off/crashes. It happens randomly. Most often after the first start of the program.

I checked on two versions - Adobe Premiere Pro 24.4.1 (Build 2) and Adobe Premiere Pro 23.0.0 (Build 63) - same behavior

Have any of you encountered such behavior? Would you be able to help me?

If it helps, I can share the dmp file generated by Adobe Premiere Pro

Regards

Moved to Discussions for troubleshooting with our SDK experts. @Bruce Bullis might have an idea about what's going on there. Thanks for your patience, @rafałb4262711!

Thanks,
Kevin

When you say "it happens randomly"...

It's hard to tell, from your description; what sort of things are you doing in PPro, when the 'random' crashes occur?  Importing or exporting the .xml in question?

If you can send us an .xml that reliably reproduces the crash, we'd like to investigate further. Has Dalet been able to offer any guidance?

Strange: It looks as though the paths to the media have been mangled.
When I open one of the provided .xml files (none of them crash PPro, btw), I see that the .mxf file's path is

/Macintosh HD/NASOnline/Storage/LSU08_VIDEO/media.dir

That looks bizarre; why would "NASOnline" be within a directory, on the local hard drive?!
